Establishing New Edge Fitness Inc. in 1999, now New Edge Alliance Inc., Ibby has designed its unique training regimes different than any other, specializing in high interval explosive training working aggressively with cardiovascular and muscular conditioning bringing you to your peak performance. Utilizing his background as a professional athlete himself, Ibby continues to work with a variety of clientele from youth to professional. He will push you to your breaking point and instill your soul with the passion, desire to strive for more, fortifying your state of mind to understand your body and the mechanics within to be a master of your own vehicle. If there is a will we will find a way to make a better, harder working athlete.

TRAINING PHILOSOPHY

Ibby’s style of training is very cutting edge and unique. One-on-one training will allow him to push you past your body’s limits but still respect that boundary through customized workouts using high intensity compound movements that give you flexibility through mobility equipping you with the strength and the tools to live full out.

Bryce Gougeon is a former professional MMA fighter registered with the BC athletic commission and is qualified in emergency first aid. Bryce has over 15 years of hands-on experience in the fitness and martial arts industries and throughout his professional career he has had the opportunity to train with some of the top athletes and coaches in the world. Training at such a high level for many years has taught Bryce the importance of high intensity aerobic style training to keep your body and metabolism functioning well. Bryce’s positive attitude and high energy teaching style has helped youth and adults at all levels achieve their goals, whether it be in fitness or martial arts. Bryce truly loves what he does and is passionate about health and wellness. Throughout his fighting career training at some of the best gyms in the world, Bryce has put together a program for all skill levels, that he calls, Pro Fit Conditioning. I am an ACE certified personal trainer and professional football player in the CFL. I have played football at every level from community football to NCAA, CFL and NFL. I also played basketball and ran a bit of track growing up. I was a student athlete at SFU where I received a degree in Biomedical Physiology and Kinesiology. I am very passionate about training athletes and helping them reach their full potential!

SPECIALIZATION

I specialize in training athletes at all levels, from youth to professional athletes. The programs I create are specific to each athlete’s sport. My knowledge ranges from strength and conditioning to improving running mechanics and footwork.

ABOUT

As a former athlete, I think movement is key and pushing ourselves to our max capacity is extremely important. I am always working on the fundamental movement patterns to develop a well rounded individual capable of attacking any challenge they set for themselves

PASSIONS

We’re stronger than we think and working out allows us to get out of our comfort zone. Placing great emphasis on functional movements along with a healthy mix of conditioning, I hope to establish these as the foundations for any workout we do. Success comes from doing the boring things over and over again but we’ll have fun doing them

Working with athletes on strength, power and speed to develop a program tailored to their needs. Also as someone who has dealt with major injuries before, developing a strong mobility routine to prevent future injuries. Combining the mental aspect of training along with mobility in the rehab process is equally important and something I focus on when we train.

Rachael is a Personal Trainer, Certified Holistic Nutritionist and mother of three.

Moving towards a holistic lifestyle eventually led her to lose 80lbs, be energized enough to keep up with her children and fuel her passion in the fitness and wellness industry.

Rachael is very passionate about whole body health. As your coach, she will focus not only on your nutrition and fitness, but on your mental health, sleep hygiene, and more.

I believe that it’s outside of the gym that count’s the most, and with fitness, as in life it’s not always how you start, it’s how you finish. I believe in always finishing on a strong note. I’m ready to fight for what I want, and help you fight for what you want.

In 1990 I started kickboxing and boxing at a competitive level. Since then I have become a certified personal trainer and yoga instructor. Teaching fitness since 2016.

PASSION

My passion lies in helping you realize that perfection is not what we’re after, we’re looking for progression. I want you to get better every day.

One of my favourite classes I teach is my BoxFit Bootcamp here at New Edge Alliance. It’s a great class for everyone from beginners to advanced members, and it’s constantly challenging you to increase your stamina and reflexes, your hand eye coordination, it improves weight loss, and helps you to define your core strength.

While it looks like a wild ride from the photos and video we have on our website and social media, it’s built around the philosophy that if you’re willing to be the hardest worker in the room you’ll always succeed, because this is a stepping stone to a lifestyle change, through a fun total body workout, that has huge mental health, and stress relief side to it as well.
